At #NDR2024, PM Lawrence Wong announced an increase in the Enhanced CPF Housing Grant to provide greater support for first-time homebuyers. Additionally, new measures have been introduced by MND and HDB to cool the HDB resale market.

To support Singaporeans in relevant skills training, those aged 40 and above can receive training allowance of up to $72,000 over 24 months, if they pursue selected full-time courses. Lower- and middle-income workers, who are involuntarily unemployed, can also receive up to $6,000 financial support for up to 6 months.
