😀 The FSB of Russia admits that they can track Telegram users via internet traffic, but at the same time claims it is difficult to obtain IP addresses and geolocation data. This was stated by a special services employee during a court hearing on an administrative case for extremism against a resident of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, who was fined 10,000 rubles under Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. 🧏‍♀️ She maintains her innocence, stating that the "No Coercion EAO" channel has several admins, and the case materials lack data on the account login, IP address, and geolocation. The questioned senior investigator of the FSB Directorate for the district explained as follows:

«The messenger login can be obtained based on a court sanction and tracked through a specialized technical unit to see where the traffic went, which application, social networks, VKONTAKTE, Odnoklassniki, Telegram, WhatsApp. Everything can be obtained based on internet traffic».

The same person added that obtaining data on IP and geolocation is difficult because Telegram is a foreign service.
