Among a litany of reasons, the freakshow that is James Talrico, currently running against Ken Paxton for the Senate (TX), one cannot be overlooked.

He campaigned HARD for Beto O'Rourke.

Talrico is legit Beto 2.0, but with more glitches, bugs, errors, and an unsecure backdoor.

This doesn't happen to incumbent Senators. Not very often, at least. It's an event that happens like once every 15 years.

And it most certainly doesn't happen in a landslide victory for the challenger.... not since Dick Luger was sidelined in 2012 (by 22 pts).

BTW, if you forgot, this runoff happened after neither of them cleared 50% 21 days ago, with Cornyn slightly edging him out.

What was the difference?

His endorsement-winning percentage is perhaps the strongest in the history of US politics.
