The beta version of Telegram for Android has received an updated design for audio and video calls.
Now users can enjoy a new user interface with a gradient background for calls, featuring smooth and cyclical animation. The background changes its shades depending on the call status and signal quality. The partner's image on the call screen is positioned within a sphere surrounded by dynamic waves.

In the Beta version of Telegram for Android, a new feature allows users to send voice messages that can be listened to only once, after which they self-destruct.
It's not possible to forward such messages, and on older versions of the app, the message is marked as "unsupported".

In the Beta version of Telegram for Android, Saved Messages has received new features.
Saved Messages are now grouped by message peers, which is users, chats, and channels. Sources in this list can be pinned. This, for example, allows you to only see your saved messages of a specific person or channel, if you forwarded anything from them into the Saved Messages chat.
The message will be categorized as โAuthor Hiddenโ if the user you forwarded the message from has restrictions set for the โWho can add a link to my account when forwarding my messagesโ setting.
The Saved Messages tab has also appeared in channel, group and user profiles. It only shows if you have any messages saved. This way you can quickly view the messages saved from this source.
The update is in testing right now, so for some users it may work incorrectly or not work at all.

To switch them on, you need to open the settings, scroll to the end of the list and tap the version number. Next steps are shown in the screenshots.
Currently in this section you can switch on the ID display in users/groups/channels profiles and folders.
You can download the Beta version from Google Play after joining the beta program or from the official channel @tgx_log.
