Sending a Scheduled Message Silently

In the Telegram for Android beta version 12.7, a new option has been added that controls whether your contacts or channel subscribers receive a sound notification when your scheduled message is sent.

Creating Custom Styles for the AI Editor

In the Telegram for Android beta version 12.7, users can now create custom styles for the AI editor.

How it works

The user taps "Create Style", comes up with a name, picks an icon from custom emoji, and writes an instruction for the neural network.

Once created, you can copy a link to the style and share it. You can also choose whether to include a link to the creator's profile.

New Restrictions for Polls

In the Telegram for Android beta version 12.7, new tools to combat vote manipulation in polls are now available.

What we know:

• Channel administrators can now restrict voting to users who have been subscribed for at least 24 hours — this significantly reduces the potential for bot-driven manipulation.

• It is now possible to set geographic restrictions for polls — voting can be limited to users from a selected country or multiple countries.

Removing Reactions to Posts in Groups

In the beta versions of Telegram for Android (12.7) and iOS (12.6.4), administrators with the “Delete messages” permission can now remove reactions to a message in the group.

To remove a reaction, open the reactions list, long-press the user whose reaction you want to remove. You will be prompted to remove either that reaction or all reactions from that user.

A ‘Delete Reaction’ button has also been added to the user’s profile page (accessible from the reactions list), alongside the ‘Ban and report’ options — though there is no ‘Delete all reactions’ option here.

Note that a user can react to the same post again if no additional limits have been applied to the user after the reaction was removed.
