According to John Solomon at JustTheNews, Charlie Kirk has sadly passed away.

I am speechless.

I am enraged.

But I also have no words.

May God comfort Charlie’s wife and 2 young girls at this time. May God grant us serenity and strength. May God grant this nation peace and deliverance.

This brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk is a shameful act of violence that must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. This is not merely an assault on one individual; it is an attack on the principles of free speech, open debate, and civil discourse that are supposed to define our country, our nation, the United States of America.

Regardless of political differences, the use of violence to silence or intimidate anyone is utterly unacceptable. And it should NOT and will NOT be tolerated.

What we are witnessing in our country is a dangerous and disturbing trend, this rise in political hatred and an alarming willingness to resort to aggression when faced with opposing views.

This brutal, horrific assassination is a stark reminder of the growing intolerance and division tearing at the fabric of our society.

When ideas are met with violence instead of reasoned argument, we all lose. Our NATION loses!

We cannot allow this to become the new normal. This will NOT stand in our civil society.

Instead, we MUST stand firm in defending our freedoms, our right to disagree, and our shared commitment to peace and respect. The attacks on free speech and individual safety must stop NOW.

Charlie went immediately into Glory with our precious Lord Jesus Christ, HIS Savior and first love, is my only consolation. We grieve here. But his joy is just beginning. It is so, so hard to say this. But i have to remind the grieving: we are crushed together, as a family, as a Body of Christ. We weep. But Charlie, is in eternal bliss with Christ.

The other day, a stanza in this old hymn grabbed me, that never had before, in relation to my mother. Hit me like a ton of bricks. Now it hits me again, in relation to Charlie:

And then one day, I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain;
And then, as death gives way to victory,
I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives!

Bolded that last part: "and I'll know He lives."

Because Salvation is a faith walk. Till we get there. Then, we KNOW, that OUR SAVIOR LIVES. 🥹❤️‍🔥 Charlie knows now.

This song has helped heal my heart many times before and if it can help even one other person, it was worth the share.
