EURO-2024 Play-offs: how it works?

🏆 On June 26th, the Group Stage of flagship Fanton tournament with a Prize pool of $100,000 will end. Initially, entry to tournament was free, additional teams could be purchased for just 0.25 TON.

Registration is now open for the 10th Round, with a paid entry fee of 11 TON. Among those who have made it to this stage, fewer than 700 players remain. These are the most resilient fantasy players!

The $100,000 prize pool will be shared among those who advance from the 12th round to the playoff stage and rank in the top 40% over 5 rounds.

In the play-offs, all players will compete in 5 rounds: two in the Round of 16, then the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Final. If you advance to the playoffs with, for example, 3 teams, you will create three lineups in each of the 5 rounds. 💥 Remember to collect your tickets after each round!

Each of your teams is a separate slot, sequentially earning points. The sum of points for each slot determines your final position in the tournament. Details can be found here.

Here is an EXAMPLE of prize calculation if 100 teams make it to the playoffs. In this case, all players in top-40% prize zone will receive TON:

1st place — 2120💎 or about $15,200
5th place — 580💎
10th place — 330💎
15th place — 240💎
20th place — 200💎
40th place — 136💎 or about $1,000

🔧 Problem? There's a solution

When creating teams for the 10th Round, 38 Fanton players registered 92 Free lineups by exploiting a bug. We have addressed this issue and promptly identified all accounts that created "extra" lineups.

After the tournament calculations, players from the 10th Round will not receive tickets automatically. Immediately after closing, we will issue 450 tickets only to those players who created tournaments without "extra" lineups.

🏆 Single Match Reform

Hello everyone! In this post we want to share some changes planned for Single Matches format. Let's go!

Single Matches are a quick format in Fanton where you don't have to wait for the end of a tournament for 2-3 days. Singles are designed for fast play that lasts several hours.

Currently, there is an issue with "identical lineups" in Single Matches. Often the prize places are taken by those who chose the best lineup but registered their team earlier. Players with identical lineups don't win due to later registration — this isn't great.

We plan to implement four changes:

🟨Allow players to choose a lineup without being tied to positions. Use any player — even 5 forwards! Points calculation will be based on the player's position.
🟨The "Substitute" slot will no longer exist; the 5th player will earn points according to the usual rules without coefficients.
🟨In case of identical lineups, the final criterion will not be registration time but the time of the last change in the lineup.
▪️Later, if the lineups are completely identical, the reward will be shared equally among winners.

A small off-top — the 5% rake promo in Duels has been deemed successful. The 5% rake will remain in this mode permanently.
