Today we woke up with some news pointing that Google's CEO, Sundar Pichai, met with Pavel Durov (founder of Telegram) to propose the purchase of TG for $1 Billion
Well, from Telegram Geeks we'd like to say that this is not gonna happen, Pavel has made clear on many occasions that Telegram aspires to become a sustainable nonprofit tool.

Somebody logged into Telegram accounts of some Russian opposition activists

Russian activists Georgy Alburov (member of Anti-corruption Foundation) and Oleg Kozlovsky (member of Solidarnost movement) found their Telegram accounts accessed from same NY IP address.

They did not have two-factor authentication enabled
