I first visited the Rail Corridor in 2015. One of my first #jalanjalan there was from Tanjong Pagar to the Gillman Flyover. At that time, only parts of the trail were open. After many walks over the years, I have now completed the full length of the Rail Corridor, from Kranji Node to Tanjong Pagar. Sharing a few photos from my journey here: go.gov.sg/5g2lnu ;)

Enjoyed visiting the “T5 In the Making” exhibition. This immersive exhibition at Changi Airport Terminal 3 tells the story of how our airport came to be, and offers a glimpse into the future when Terminal 5 is completed. T5 will be Changi’s largest terminal. The exhibition runs till March 2026. I hope you will have the chance to visit and be inspired by how Singapore’s aviation ambitions take flight. go.gov.sg/t5k9a

Had a good meeting yesterday with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Core Group. Singapore and the CII share a longstanding partnership. Through sustained dialogue, business collaboration, and youth exchanges, the CII has contributed to the growing cooperation between Singapore and India. I wish the CII Core Group a fruitful visit in Singapore. go.gov.sg/821d8t

For some, love finds expression through grand romantic gestures. But love can also be found in quiet, ordinary moments. Whether you are in a committed relationship or still looking for your special someone, I hope you find joy and celebrate love in your own way.

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️ go.gov.sg/5nve1o

Today is Total Defence Day. War and geopolitical tensions affect many parts of the world. Closer to home, we have faced challenges too. Every Singaporean has a part to play. Let us remain united and continue to build a stronger nation together, one that will see us through any challenge that comes our way. go.gov.sg/lkc7j3

Happy Chinese New Year! 🐎 Went on a #jalanjalan to the Gardens by the Bay. Lovely to see these Year of the Horse displays in full bloom amidst lush floral landscape. May this Fire Horse year, symbolised by ambition, passion and transformation, spur us on to explore new possibilities, seize opportunities, and find the courage to keep moving forward. Wishing everyone a healthy and prosperous new year!

This evening, our Muslim friends welcome the fasting month of Ramadan. It coincides with Chinese New Year and this will recur in the coming years. To everyone celebrating Chinese New Year, may the year ahead be filled with good health, happiness and prosperity. To our Muslim friends, Selamat Berpuasa! May this Ramadan be a meaningful and blessed month for you and your loved ones. We also remember our Christian friends who mark Ash Wednesday today, as they begin the 40-day Lenten season – a time of fasting, prayer and penance in preparation for Easter.

Celebrated Chinese New Year with Cheng San residents last night! Today is also the 7th day of the Chinese New Year, known as 人日 (rén rì), and believed to be everyone’s birthday. In Singapore, this day is often celebrated by tossing 鱼生 (yú shēng) with loved ones. Wishing everyone a prosperous Chinese New Year and happy birthday to us all! go.gov.sg/3avab5

In the round-up of the #SGBudget2026 debate, PM Lawrence Wong outlined how the Government will prepare Singapore for an uncertain and demanding global environment. The challenges ahead are significant, but Singapore possesses strong fundamentals built up over generations. Hence, we can face the future with confidence, and build a stronger, more resilient Singapore together. go.gov.sg/bd8kw

Joined Teck Ghee residents for our Chinese New Year dinner last night to usher in the Year of the Horse. 🐎 At the dinner, I thanked Mr Yeo Toon Chia and Dr S Vasoo, former Second Advisors to Ang Mo Kio Grassroots Organisations for their decades of service. Joined our Muslim friends at Masjid Al-Muttaqin yesterday for buka puasa. Moments like these remind us what makes Singapore unique – friends of different faiths and races coming together to break fast and share the community of one another’s company. Thank you Al-Muttaqin Mosque for your warm welcome. Selamat Berpuasa to all our Muslim friends! go.gov.sg/e6dmve

Caught up with fellow AMK MPs between COS debate sessions. Beyond raising the concerns of residents, Darryl David, Henry Kwek, Nadia Samdin, Victor Lye, and Yip Hon Weng are active in their GPCs, contributing views on issues under their respective Ministries. Jasmin Lau, Minister of State for MDDI and MOE, oversees areas within her portfolios, while Ng Chee Meng, Secretary-General of the NTUC, works with fellow labour MPs to improve the workers’ lives. go.gov.sg/sr6rw8

I was heartened to see students and volunteers coming together in the spirit of service and community this Ramadan. Students from CHIJ Sanctuary for Children and Presbyterian High School joined volunteers from Teck Ghee and Harmony Circle at Masjid Al-Muttaqin to distribute porridge to residents. Such acts of kindness remind us how people from different walks of life can come together to strengthen our community bonds. go.gov.sg/5l7y44

Thankful that the first repatriation flight from Muscat, Oman has landed safely. Heartfelt thanks to our officers for making this happen. It was a whole-of-government effort. Had a good catch-up with grassroots leaders from the Ang Mo Kio family at the belated Chap Goh Mei dinner at the Istana yesterday. In a troubled and uncertain world, with conflicts and unrest across many regions, such gatherings help to keep our GRLs abreast of developments, and how we see events. They help us to stay united and to face the challenges ahead. Thank you to all our AMK GRLs for taking good care of our residents. Keep up the good work! go.gov.sg/lu06un
