Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 祝大家中秋节快乐! 🥮🌕🏮We have much to be thankful for as we gather with our loved ones, to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival during this time of uncertainty around us. As we enjoy mooncakes, light up lanterns or simply to admire the full moon, let’s also take a moment to appreciate the tranquility and abundance that we have today with those around us. go.gov.sg/5d6nv2

The Harvest Moon shines bright tonight! It is called the Harvest Moon because, in the old days, its bright light gave farmers extra time to harvest crops into the late evening. It is also the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox. go.gov.sg/yca8v3

Really enjoyed this #BlockbusterDeepavali video, featuring the upbeat and catchy song “Dinga Dinga Dali” by local musician Shabir Sulthan. In this season of Deepavali, let us continue to be kind to one another. The true spirit of Deepavali shines brightest when we all come together to share warmth and kindness.

In Parliament today, Coordinating Minister K Shanmugam spoke on race and religion. For decades, we have progressed as a nation, regardless of race, language, or religion. Singaporeans live by this; it is the bedrock of our nationbuilding. Let’s continue to embrace diversity and live in harmony, while upholding the integrity of our secular politics. We must never mix race and religion with politics. go.gov.sg/19e1bx

Went for a #jalanjalan around the Palermo neighbourhood before starting my official engagements in Buenos Aires. I also visited Plaza Serrano, located within the neighbourhood. Artists and entrepreneurs were showcasing their wares at the weekend market. facebook.com/share/p/1GTtxUuJso/

Visiting the Recoleta Cemetery was definitely a memorable experience. It is a major cultural landmark, and often described as an open-air museum. I also went for a walk by the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve. It is the largest green space in Buenos Aires, and also a hotspot for birdwatching, with over 300 bird species identified! go.gov.sg/wdg9ik

Managed to take a short walk through Little Venice in the evening. The area earned its name from its scenic canals and waterways, similar to the famous Italian city.
