STAMPLINGS (2022-2023)
I’d love to do something new with these characters someday — I really care about them. But for now, let them sit here and collect your likes.

>> There’s also a version without the stamp framing on Pinterest (though not all of them made it there)

How I drew 100 characters
A wonderful era — the sunrise of the NFT movement. Artists shook themselves awake, rolled up their sleeves, and went digging for tokens. I went too — and I’m glad I did.
Stamplings became one of my first long-term projects that I developed daily over an extended period of time. That consistency really paid off.
The original idea was simple: create a collection of characters and place them inside postage stamps — hence the name, STAMPLINGS. At first, I planned to build modular sets of different heads, torsos, and emotions to shuffle them around, like a typical PFP project.
But somewhere along the way, I fell in love with the process of drawing entirely new characters within the same stylistic frame and format. So I shifted my focus toward inventing distinct personalities and looks — while staying on the same visual path.
In total, 100 pieces were created, plus several collaborative stamps with other artists.
I’d love to do something new with these characters someday — I really care about them. But for now, let them sit here and collect your likes.
