It's time to get to know each other!
Lost Dogs is a generative NFT collection featuring hundreds of thousands of different dogs, each possessing 5 distinct attributes with a range of 11 to 23 properties.
The first pack of 2,222 dogs will be ‘born’ on the Getgems marketplace launchpad at a fixed price of 1 $TON per dog and a limit of 10 dogs per wallet. These launchpad dogs will all have similar levels of rarity.
Once the sale ends, the real fun begins!
The main aim of the game is to pair off your dog in such a way as to breed a new and rarer offspring pup. In a sense, the real minting stage will start once the launchpad sale is finished. Players have to carefully select which dogs to breed with in the hope of minting a rare offspring, whose attributes will be inherited from its parent dogs in a random manner.
As a player, you will have the exciting opportunity to negotiate with other dog owners in order to obtain the rarest offspring. With some luck, you might even get your hands on a dog with exceptionally rare attributes, which can be the basis of a whole new breed of Lost Dog. There will be a queue of players eagerly waiting to breed their dogs with yours, just like in real life, where rare breeds are the most highly valued. 🐕🦺🐕🐩🦮

We value the convenience and aesthetics of our game, so we have partnered up with Getgems marketplace to create a new NFT mechanic that allows players to breed their pups directly in the market interface. This feature will also display the entire family tree of any Lost Dog right there on its NFT page, enabling players to check the pedigree of any dog. 🐶
So, how does it all work? 👀
If you want to breed your dogs, simply select two NFTs that you would like to cross within the marketplace interface. Pay the minting fee, and obtain your new dog which will inherit attributes from both its parents.

But now…..now we have something even cooler in mind. We were running along the beach with our buddy Snoopy Doggy, wagging our tails, when we suddenly realized the collection is missing something – RADIOACTIVE MUTAGENS! Damn…..how did we miss it before? On top of that, the first person to successfully breed a completely mutated dog will receive 1,000 $TON straight to their wallet. Let’s see how fast the mutation happens!

We mentioned something about radiation… Ah, right!
So, imagine there are two dogs, and they are mating, the result will be a new offspring. But what would happen if a radioactive element was suddenly brought into the mix? 🤔
We have been pondering this question for years, and we finally have an answer: their offspring would be radioactive and possess super strange and rare traits!
But before you get any ideas, please don’t ever under any circumstances attempt to create radioactive dogs! We all want ordinary dog offspring, right?
1. Radiation is harmful and so you should absolutely never consider buying a mutagen – it is incredibly reckless.
2. Ok, if you happen to stumble across a mutagen and you find it in your possession, absolutely do not keep it in the same wallet you keep the dog you want to cross!
3. Dude, keeping radioactive elements near your dog during breeding is a terrible idea. You don’t want to end up with a strange, radioactive dog with a weird head. Or body. Or face.
4. We sincerely urge you not to breed mutated dogs with the normal ones, as these radioactive traits can be passed down just like any other.
5. You what? Wanna get a jam-packed radioactive dog? You must be a mad genius! If you be first to succeed at this, you win 1,000 $TON!

So here're more details on radioactive mutagens.🐶☢️
Having a radioactive element in your wallet provides a 10% chance that after any breeding one of the attributes of an NFT-offspring minting into your wallet will be replaced with a random radioactive attribute.
☝️ If the wallet of parent #1 contains a radioactive element and the wallet of parent #2 does not (but both wallets want to receive an offspring), the probability will only apply to the offspring that mints into the wallet #1.
☝️ If there is more than one radioactive element in the wallet, the probability of mutation does not increase and remains at 10% in any case.
Exception: Radioactive element #69 will provide a 15% chance instead of 10%.
Radioactive attributes of the NFT are passed onto the offspring in the same way non-radioactive attributes are (50% chance that the attribute will be passed onto the offspring).
