UNVACCINATED and PARTIALLY vaccinated international travellers arriving in Nigeria will be REQUIRED to observe a mandatory 7-day self-isolation in addition to a #COVID19 PCR test on days 2 and 7 after arrival.

In this paper just published in Nature, we worked with colleagues from Anka General Hospital, Zamfara and Médecins Sans Frontières / MSF to describe the incidence and causative organisms of pediatric sepsis in Zamfara State.

Our study reinforces the urgent need for improved awareness and practice around optimal antibiotic use, a major priority in the National Antimicrobial Resistance Plan.
