#Cholera is a serious disease that spreads through unsafe water and contaminated food. You can greatly reduce risk of contamination by making sure the water you drink is clean and safe:
Always use water from reliable and trusted sources.
Boil your water before drinking to kill harmful germs.
Store water in clean, properly sealed containers to prevent recontamination.
Before drinking bottled water, check that the seal is intact.

⚠️if you or someone around you experiences sudden diarrhoea (watery stool), seek medical care immediately—it could be a sign of cholera. Early treatment saves lives.✅️

🚨 Public Health Advisory: Ebola Virus Disease (EVD)

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has released a public health Advisory following the announcement of an Ebola Outbreak in DR Congo.

Though no case has been reported in Nigeria, NCDC is closely monitoring the situation.

Key Preventive Measures:
▪️Wash hands frequently with soap & running water
▪️Avoid contact with sick individuals showing symptoms like fever, vomiting, diarrhoea & bleeding
▪️Avoid bushmeat and ensure all animal products are well-cooked
▪️Healthcare workers: maintain high IPC standards & use PPE 🧑‍⚕️
