➡️Skin infection: direct contact with infected animals through wounds or cuts
➡️Gastrointestinal infection: eating raw or undercooked meat of infected animals or their products
➡️ Inhalation infection: breathing in the spores

#Diphtheria is one of the priority diseases in Nigeria requiring immediate reporting.

All healthcare workers are required to immediately report all suspected cases to the Disease Surveillance and Notification Officer in their LGA.
