We are pleased to announce the inclusion of two new laboratories in Lagos and Ogun, established by 54gene.com in collaboration with the State governments and NCDC.
This brings the number of laboratories in our molecular lab network to 17 and expands national testing capacity.

Thanks to incredible efforts of a joint Team from NCDC, Kano State Ministry of Health, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) and our Partners, the #COVID19 lab at AKTH, Kano is back up and testing has resumed.
A second lab at Bayero University in Kano will be activated tomorrow.

Press Release: EMERGENCY PHASE OF THE 2020 LASSA FEVER OUTBREAK OVER
Following the decline in cases, NCDC has declared the emergency phase of the 2020 #Lassafever outbreak over.
The NCDC will continue to monitor the trend in cases and respond effectively, given the endemicity of #Lassafever in Nigeria

We are grateful for the support from IHS Towers in providing FOUR ambulances for Nigeria’s #COVID19 response.
These will be used by Port Health Services of the Federal Ministry of Health, and the State Public Health Emergency Operations Centres (State PHEOCs) in Kano, Edo an Oyo State to expand the current capacity for transportation of cases in the States.
