A devastating head-on collision on a Ross County highway has left two people dead and Ohio State Trooper Gunner Combs with very serious injuries.

A GoFundMe campaign was launched and has already raised more than $25,000 to aid in his recovery. The young trooper, who recently returned from assisting flood victims in Texas and worked security at the NATO Summit in Dayton, has a 1-year-old son and another child on the way.

Following the crash, Combs was initially taken to a hospital in Chillicothe but is now receiving treatment at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. According to family members, doctors are working to save his leg after a 13-hour surgery to transplant veins. Combs faces a long and potentially costly recovery.

🚨DEVELOPING: Evacuation orders have expanded for a fire that sparked Tuesday afternoon in Calaveras County, California.

The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office said the evacuation zone includes areas as far south as Vallecito Bypass Road and areas as far north as part of the community of Murphys.  When evacuation orders are issued, you are lawfully required to leave immediately due to threatening conditions.  

There are also evacuation warnings south and north of where the orders were issued. You are not required to leave immediately under warnings but are recommended to do so in case conditions become dangerous.

NEW: A naked woman who led police on a brief pursuit Tuesday morning was taken into custody following a lengthy standoff on a major street in Westwood.

The woman was detained just before 11 a.m. right after she jumped on the roof of her SUV.

Officers initially responded at 6:44 a.m. to report of a screaming woman causing a disturbance in the 11000 block of Ovada Place in Bel Air, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The street is just east of the Getty Center and the 405 Freeway.
