🪙 Notcoin Pre-Launch: Results Part 1

Hello everyone! In February 2024, we launched a unique tool in the TON ecosystem - Pre-Launch futures on Notcoin, allowing traders to profit from the token's price expectations even before its exchange listing.

On May 16, trading in this pair was halted, and we began tracking the token's average market price to settle all open positions in this pair.

📊 How the average price calculations were conducted:

1. We selected the exchange with the highest trading volume for this pair, Binance. The average price of NOT from day 1 to day 7 post-listing was approximately 0.006025 USD.

2. During this period, the price of the TON token, according to our price provider Pyth Network, was approximately 6.48109 USD.

3. We also considered the denomination of NOT carried out by the Notcoin team, where 1 contract of 1mNOT-F became equal to 1000 NOT.

4. Next, we calculated the price of one 1mNOT-F contract in USD: 0.006025*1000 = 6.025 USD.

5. Since trading on Storm used TON as collateral, we calculated the price of one 1mNOT-F contract in TON: 6.025/6.48109 = ~0.92958 TON.

This was the final settlement price for the trading pair 1mNOT-F/TON.

💰 As mentioned in the article, we paid traders their P&L according to the following principles:

All long positions opened below the price of 0.92958 TON, and short positions opened above this price, received their collateral plus profit according to the size of their positions.

🪙 Notcoin Pre-Launch: Results Part 2

🍿 Some interesting statistics:

🔵During the existence of the 1mNOT-F/TON trading pair, the total collected fees amounted to 14,884 TON, half of which went to the insurance fund for final payouts. However, the team decided to allocate 70% of the collected fund instead of 50% to cover traders' P&L in full.

🔵Throughout the pair's operation, traders opened over 8,000 positions, with only about 1,000 positions remaining open at the time of final payouts.

🔵Traders were very close to determining the average price, with the trading pair closing at 1.02 TON per 1mNOT-F.

💎 This was one of the most extensive experiments in Storm Trade's history. Thank you to everyone who participated! We will hide the trading pair from the interface but leave access to it via the link as a part of our history.
