We're thrilled to announce that Hamster Kombat has just been listed. Here are some handy tips for navigating Hamster operations within Tonkeeper:

1. Go to @hamster_kombat_bot.

2. Select the "Airdrop" option to transfer $HMSTR tokens to Tonkeeper.

If you previously connected your Tonkeeper wallet to Hamster Kombat via ‘On-chain Airdrop’, your tokens will go into your wallet.

If you haven't connected Tonkeeper to Hamster Kombat, choose Direct Claim to withdraw $HMSTR and transfer tokens to Tonkeeper for safe storage and management.

Make sure to select the correct wallet address for the withdrawal. The tokens will be sent to that address.

3. Receive $HMSTR in Tonkeeper.

Following withdrawal confirmation, $HMSTR tokens will appear in your Tonkeeper wallet.

4. Exchange Hamster for TON via Swap in Tonkeeper.

To exchange $HMSTR for TON or USDT, simply click the Swap button on the Tonkeeper main screen and enter the amount of $HMSTR you want to exchange.

⚡️ How to Keep Your Tonkeeper Account Secure

Dear friends, here is your reminder to safely store your data securely and stay vigilant online. Please follow these rules to ensure your crypto data remains safe.

Keeping Seed Phrase Secret Is Key

A seed phrase, also known as a seed recovery phrase, is a list of 24 words that store the information necessary to recover your account in case you lose access to it. It is crucial to store the seed phrase securely and never share it with anyone. As a non-custody wallet on the TON network, Tonkeeper cannot recover access to wallets without the seed phrase.

⚠️ Do not share the 24-word recovery phrase with anyone; only scammers will ask for it.
⚠️ The Tonkeeper team will never DM you first or ask for funds.
⚠️ Beware of external links or files shared online — don’t click or download anything.

How to Access Seed Phrase in Tonkeeper

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap on the option “Back Up”.
3. Copy the seed phrase and store it in a safe place.

If a wallet is accidentally deleted or lost, the seed phrase can be used to restore the wallet from anywhere and at any time. However, if it falls into the wrong hands, it can be used against you and cost you all your crypto savings.

Tips for keeping your crypto wallet safe:

1. Never give your seed phrase to anyone. Tonkeeper support team, engineering team, CEO or even the Pope himself will never ask for it. Only scammers want your recovery phrase.

2. Do not enter your 24-word recovery phrase on any website. Tonkeeper has designed secure Ton Connect standard for app-to-wallet communication so users can sign specific transactions without sharing access to your account.

3. Do not trust unexpected tokens that you receive. Anyone can create a token. As our community grows, so does the number of scam attempts. Don’t fall for them. If you receive an unexpected message, always treat it with caution.

4. Tonkeeper support or team never DMs first.

The team behind Tonkeeper is always working on security enhancements to make your life on TON easier and safer. However, one thing will always remain true: Your wallet is only as safe as you are. Not even the best security measurements will make a difference if you give someone access to your own account. It is always on the user to take available security measures and stay vigilant in a free and open network.

🐹Tonkeeper and TonAPI: Rescue Rangers

Yesterday, on Thursday 26, TON network received a 3x increase in transactions per second as a result of Hamster Kombat's token listing.

TonAPI, the incredible infrastructure behind Tonkeeper, Tonkeeper Pro, Tonviewer and hundreds of other apps and services in TON's ecosystem, has received a record 300 000 of requests per second and handled 1,500,000 connections simultaneously. At the peak, TonAPI handled 10x load.

While other services experienced downtime and runaway delays for hours, TonAPI worked throughout the day (apart from a couple minor hiccups on one of the API handles). Our team worked non-stop monitoring the infrastructure, making emergency configuration updates and rolling out fixes.

Tonkeeper made using HMSTR a breeze: First, we rolled out Tonkeeper Battery in-app purchases for Android, so users could pay blockchain fees with a banking card in a single click.

🤓Education hub: Staking

Friends, welcome to the next installment of our educational segment, where we discuss complex blockchain topics. Today, we’re looking at staking, how it works, and how you can stake your funds:

What is staking?

Staking is the process of locking up crypto in a smart contract to get rewards, usually a percentage of the staked tokens. However, it is impossible to discuss staking without first explaining what proof of stake (PoS) is.

Proof of stake (PoS) is a type of consensus mechanism that is used to confirm transactions and create new blocks. In order to become a validator, a server that validates transactions, an individual needs to stake at least 300,000 TON ($1,633,343 at the time of writing).

For their work, they earn approximately 50,000 TON daily.
The minimum requirement to become a validator is prohibitive for most crypto holders, but TON holders have other staking opportunities available.
Let’s have a look at liquid staking.

What is liquid staking?

Liquid staking protocol allows users to stake their funds. There is no minimum amount requirement. The funds are assigned to one of the existing validators and earn rewards alongside the validator’s crypto.
When liquid staking, users get Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) representing their staked TON (1 LST = 1 TON). When users choose to withdraw their staked crypto, they simply exchange their LST for TON.

How to stake your TON?

Tonstakers has recently launched Tonstakers Earn for users who want to maximize the yield of liquid staking. Thanks to the support of TON Foundation, there are additional incentives available until the end of the year. Current yields are up to 58% APR.

TON Earn is part of TON Foundation incentive program launched to popularize the use of native USDt token on TON, launched earlier this year.

Using Tonstakers Earn is simple:

1. Stake TON on Tonstakers to receive tsTON.

2. Put tsTON into the boosted tsTON/USDT liquidity pools on STON.fi and DeDust or into tsTON pool on EVAA.

3. Earn rewards.
