What do you know about dragons? Yes, those flying lizards from fairy tales. Small ones, no bigger than a dog, and huge giants whose shadow covers entire streets of a bustling town. Creatures capable of breathing fire, acid, poisonous gases, and worse. One can talk about these beings for a long time, but one common trait among all dragons is that they are monstrously dangerous creatures. And our heroes are about to find out where they dwell.

In the midst of a cave immersed in darkness, shimmering with all sorts of colors, a sphere appears. It rapidly expands until it flares up one last time and disappears. At the same moment, a motley company falls to the floor with a cry, followed by a small fist-sized stone. While the others panic, one of the guys stealthily picks up the stone and puts it in his pocket. 'It will come in handy,' - he mutters under his breath.

Что вы знаете о драконах? Да, тех самых летающих ящерах из сказок. Маленьких, размером не больше собаки и огромных исполинах, чья тень закрывает целые улицы людного городка. Существах, способных выдыхать пламя, кислоту, ядовитые газы и ещё что похуже. Рассказывать об этих созданиях можно долго, но одна черта общая для абсолютно любого дракона – все они чудовищно опасные создания. И нашим героям скоро предстоит узнать где они обитают.

Посреди погружённой во мрак пещеры, переливаясь всевозможными цветами, появляется сфера. Она стремительно расширяется, пока не вспыхивает последний раз и пропадает. В то же мгновение на пол с криком валится разношёрстная компания, а затем и небольшой камень размером с кулак. Пока остальные в панике озираются, один из парней украдкой подбирает камень и кладёт в карман. «Ещё пригодится», - произносит он под нос!

The group quickly looks around, trying to figure out where they've ended up. Some turn on their phone flashlights to look around in the darkness. The cave resembles a corridor, with one part sloping upwards and the other descending deeper underground. Suddenly, somewhere below, a noise can be heard.
Options are limited, and our heroes decide to take a desperate step. Together, they descend further, arriving at a wide passage leading into a huge chamber, where a battle unfolds before their astonished eyes.
In the center of the hall, atop a massive pile of gold and jewels, a dragon rages, its size rivaling that of a solid barn.
It seems the group is in serious trouble. The dragon's tail snaps like a whip, and a strange vial with pinkish liquid flies towards the passage where our heroes stand. In the same moment, the monster lowers its paw onto the man in heavy armor, who barely manages to raise his shield and is pressed to the ground.
"Maverick!" a desperate cry echoes through the cave, "Where's your damn potion?!"

Группа быстро осматривается, пытаясь понять куда их занесло. Некоторые зажигают фонарики на телефонах, чтобы посмотреть в темноте вокрук. Пещера напоминает коридор, одна часть которого поднимается вверх, а другая уходит глубже под землю. Внезапно где-то внизу слышен шум.
Вариантов немного и наши герои решаются на отчаянный шаг. Вместе они спускаются ниже, оказываясь у широкого прохода в огромное помещение, и их изумлённым глазам предстаёт битва.
В центре зала, прямиком на огромной куче золота и драгоценностей, беснуется дракон, размерами не уступающий добротному сараю.
Похоже у группы серьёзные проблемы. Хвост дракона щёлкает, словно кнут, и к проходу с нашими героями, отлетает странная склянка с розоватой жидкостью. В тот же миг монстр опускает лапу на мужчину в тяжелых доспехах, и тот, едва успев выставить щит, оказывается придавлен к полу.
«Маверик! – отчаянный вопль эхом прокатывается по пещере, - Где твоё чёртово зелье?!».

While the rest of the group stood frozen in indecision, one of the guys grabs the vial and, with a loud exhale, drinks its contents in one gulp. The young people watch in horror as the daredevil, waiting to see what happens next.
In the next second, his entire body except for his head begins to rapidly increase in size. Muscles cover his arms and legs, and he now stands at least five meters tall. The giant looks at his body in surprise, then thoughtfully turns towards the dragon.
The beast was already opening its mouth, preparing to swallow the warrior pinned to the ground, when two huge hands grip the lizard from behind. Squeezing the monster tighter, the giant, who hasn't had time to come to his senses, lifts it off the ground, leans back, and throws it over himself.
The dragon crashes to the ground with a crash, and a loud crunch echoes through the cave. The carcass jerks several times, then falls still. At the same time, with a sound of released air, the giant rapidly shrinks, and with a satisfied smile, the guy falls to the cave floor.

Пока остальная группа застыла в нерешительности, один из ребят подхватывает бутыль и, шумно выдохнув, выпивает содержимое залпом. Молодые люди в ужасе смотрят на смельчака, ожидая, что будет дальше.
В следующую секунду всё его тело кроме головы начинает стремительно увеличиваться в размерах. Руки и ноги покрывает мускулатура, а рост теперь составляет не меньше пяти метров. Гигант удивлённо осматривает своё тело, а затем задумчиво поворачивается в сторону дракона.
Чудовище уже распахивало пасть, готовясь проглотить прижатого к земле воина, когда две огромные руки обхватывают ящера со спины. Сжав покрепче не успевшего опомниться монстра, великан отрывает его от земли, прогибается назад и перебрасывает через себя.
Дракон с грохотом врезается в землю и по пещере разносится отчётливый хруст. Туша дёргается несколько раз, а затем замирает. В то же время со звуком спускаемого воздуха, гигант стремительно уменьшается, и на пол пещеры с довольной улыбкой падает парень!

Having waited for the dust to settle from the dragon's collapse, a rescued warrior approaches our heroes. Drawing closer, the man nods. "Accept my gratitude. Whoever you may be," his eyes quickly scan the group from top to bottom, "I owe you my life. My men are currently carving up the beast's carcass, and you are welcome to inspect its treasures. Feel free to take whatever you wish, but only one thing. Then we shall return to the city together. I see you are lacking supplies, so let us share ours."
Moving on, the adventurer sits down next to his stunned companion, from whose hands the vial slipped. Meanwhile, our heroes rummage through the pile of treasures, marveling at various items. The first thing that catches their eye is a statue made of pure gold, depicting a strange creature. Near it, not far away, lie two bottles with caps sealed with wax. One contains a viscous gray substance, while the other is filled with crystal-clear liquid. And finally, a small box also lies in the pile of gold.

Дождавшись, пока осядет пыль от брошенного на прогиб дракона, к нашим героям подходит спасённый воин. Приблизившись, мужчина кивает: - Примите мою благодарность. Кем бы вы ни были, - его глаза быстро пробегают по ребятам сверху вниз, - я обязан вам жизнью. Сейчас мои парни разделывают тушу чудовища, а вы пока можете осмотреть его богатства. Позволю взять что захотите, но только что-то одно. Затем вместе вернёмся в город. Припасов я у вас не вижу, поделимся своими.
Направившись дальше, авантюрист присаживается возле оглушённого товарища, из чьих рук выскользнула склянка. Тем временем наши герои пробираются по груде сокровищ, удивлённо рассматривая те или иные предметы. Первой им на глаза попадается выполненная из чистого золота статуэтка, изображающая непонятное существо. Возле неё, недалеко лежат два бутылька с крышками, облитыми сургучом. Внутри одного медленно колышется вязкая серая субстанция, зато другой наполнен кристально чистой жидкостью. И, наконец, небольшая шкатулка так же лежит в груде золота!

Settling on the locked box, the group begins passing it from hand to hand, eagerly trying to open the lock. They try everything - from hairpins and needles to picked old knives - until finally, the lid of the box flips open with a quiet click. The face of the boy standing closest to it breaks into a satisfied smile at the sight of the contents.
Inside the box lies a handful of gold coins, as well as some blue coins. They are so polished that they seem not to reflect light, but to emit it themselves. The group gazes in fascination at the gold until someone speaks up: "Is there anything else?"
Digging through the coins, the young people pull out a pouch made of treated leather. Inside are seven small balls emitting a faint greenish glow. "Are these beans?!" the same voice can't contain itself. "Judging by the color," another replies, "they are either magical or radioactive. In any case, eating them is not advisable, but I would try planting a couple later, out of curiosity. I'll take them if nobody minds."

Остановив выбор на шкатулке, ребята начинают передавать её из рук в руки, напряженно стараясь вскрыть замочек. В ход идёт всё – от заколок и шпилек, до подобранных старых ножей – пока, наконец, крышка шкатулки не откидывается с тихим щелчком. Лицо стоящего ближе всех парня расплывается в довольной улыбке при виде содержимого.
Внутри шкатулки лежит целая пригоршня золотых монет, а так же какие-то синие монеты. Они так отполированы, что, кажется, не отражают свет, а источают его сами. Группа завороженно осматривает золото, пока кто-то не произносит: «А ещё что-нибудь есть?»
Покопавшись в монетах, молодые люди достают мешочек из пропитанной кожи. Внутри оказывается семь маленьких шариков, от которых исходит слабое зеленоватое свечение. «Это что, бобы?!» - не выдерживает тот же голос. «Судя по цвету, - отвечает другой, - они либо волшебные, либо радиоактивные. Есть их в любом случае не стоит, но я бы попробовал потом высадить парочку, интереса ради. Я понесу их, если никто не против»!
