When deleting a scheduled recurring message, you can now postpone it for the same time you originally set when scheduling.

I’d like to remind you that gifts released on the test server have nothing to do with the production server.
The auction feature for purchasing gifts is still being tested there, and a new gift was released because the previous one marked as «Auction» was bought out by testers and developers.
Also, don’t try to buy gifts on the test server — it won’t work. There’s a whitelist of approved users (and I’m not on it, for example).
So don’t confuse test gifts with real ones!

On the test server, if a gift was win in an auction, the «Value» field now shows the amount of your bid (previously, it showed the gift’s fixed price).
Also, if you win a gift in the auction, you won’t be able to exchange it for stars (burn it). It stays with you until it’s upgraded to an NFT (but we’ll see).

More details on what’s new in the Gift Auction:
— If you’ve placed a bid on a gift, the Telegram home screen will show how many active auctions you have. Tapping the "View" button opens a list of your auctions.
— In the auction list, you can increase your bid on a gift.
— If someone outbids you, you’ll receive a message from the Telegram service account: «Your bid for the 💐 gift has dropped out of the TOP (number). Raise it to win a gift».
— When you open an auction, you’ll see "(number) Items Bought" below, showing the gifts you’ve won in that auction. Tapping it opens a "(number) Bought Gift" list with details about your gifts — who you sent them to, the date, and your bid amount.
— The Stars transactions log will now show deductions made for your bids.
— Top bidders: a certain number of gifts (set by the server) are distributed at different intervals to the highest bidders based on their bid amounts.
— If your bid remains among the top entries, it automatically carries over to the next round.
— If your bid doesn’t win after the final round, all your stars will be fully refunded.

Android and iOS devices have already updated to v12.2.0, but Telegram still hasn’t published its Blog post. And when updating the APK version, the update screen show a sticker from the previous version.

Due to a discovered vulnerability in the @Stickers bot’s MiniApp, it’s temporarily unavailable.
The vulnerability allowed creating sticker packs in a specific user’s account, editing them, viewing stats, and even deleting them.
@BotFather also has a MiniApp, but no one gained access to it. Bot tokens are safe.

Bug with bids has appeared on fragment.com.
The issue is that you place a bid on a username, anonymous phone number, or gift, and the bid shows up in Bid History — but it doesn’t count toward the Highest Bid or Minimum Bid.
So no one will be able to get a collectible item for such a low price; the winner will be whoever places a bid higher than the current Highest Bid.

Small changes in the new Telegram Beta updates for Android v12.2.4 (6304) and iOS v12.2.2 (31882).
Android:
— Updated the gift input field — it now has more rounded edges.
— The sticker settings button in the Stickers tab is back (it had been removed).
— Other bug fixes.
iOS:
— The bottom control bar has been improved. It’s barely noticeable, but it now looks more Liquid Glass, and Tab Bar Scrubbing is supported even on iOS versions without Liquid Glass.
