— More Liquid Glass designs on iOS.
The iOS design continues to roll out Liquid Glass — most features now use it, along with rounded corners. The in-app browser design has also been updated.

— New design of Telegram for Android.
The new Android design features a Liquid Glass effect. The side panel has been removed and replaced with a bottom bar for quick switching between Contacts, Calls, Chats, and Profile.

The search bar is now wider.
The last tab opens your profile, and it also includes a Settings button (which is still available from the three-dot menu on the main screen).
The Settings design has been updated.
The light theme now looks better overall.

— Cocoon AI for text translation.
Full chat and message translations are now powered by Cocoon AI.

— Summarizing long posts + instant view.
Long posts (in channels), as well as Telegram’s official documentation and posts published via telegra.ph (Instant View), can now be summarized using Cocoon AI. It condenses everything you need into a short, readable format.

— Attach button.
The Attach button now appears above the text input bar if you’re typing a long message and forgot to add a photo — similar to how it works in Telegram for iOS.

— View gift models not only for auction gifts, but also for regular ones that have upgrades.

🤖 Some changes in the Telegram Bot API related to gifts.

— New fields have been added:

• has_colors — whether the gift supports backdrop colors.
• unique_gift_variant_count — how many unique variants the gift has (for example, up to 2,400 completely different combinations of backdrops, models, and symbols).
• personal_remaining_count — how many gifts a user is allowed to purchase.
• personal_total_count — the total number of gifts available for purchase for that user.

(the last two fields were added earlier, but they weren’t available in the Bot API).

— Auction gifts have been removed from the Bot API. This was necessary because they don’t have any functional use within bots.

2025 comes to an end, we’ve reached 11.5K subscribers — and I’m incredibly grateful to every single one of you for being here 😉

This channel started on January 19, 2025 as a public notebook, where I was tracking NFT-related changes on the test server and sharing a few updates. Today, it continues as my personal blog, where I post new updates, changes, and news about Telegram. I run this channel entirely on my own — there’s no team behind it, just me.

A bit about me, so you know who’s behind all this. I’m just a regular person, like all of you, with no superpowers. My name is Denys (@desysx). I’m a student, I work on some Telegram bots (mostly for myself, not very public), and I’m a huge Telegram fan — which you can probably tell from this channel 😜
