Send videos as files. Previously, to send a video as a file in the Desktop app, you had to compress it into a ZIP archive or use other workarounds. Now you can simply drag it to «Drop files here» or choose «Send as a document».

In the new Telegram Beta for iOS v12.6.0 (32506), support was added for stretched buttons on devices that don’t have iOS 26 Liquid Glass interface (first video).

Mention of Live Photo has appeared in the code of the new Telegram Beta for iOS. In the TL schema, a new flag was added to messageMediaDocument:

live_photo:flags.11?true

This indicates that Telegram is preparing support for Live Photos as a media type. Most likely, users will be able to send Live Photos in chats in a future update. For now, the feature is not work.

The server-side limit for paid messages in private chats, groups, and channel direct messages has been increased. You can now set up to 35,000 Stars per message, up from the previous limit of 10,000 Stars per message.

In the new update Telegram Desktop v6.6.3 (beta) adds drawing tools to the image editor, including a brush, marker, eraser, and arrow.

If you don’t have Telegram Premium, Telegram users on iOS can’t purchase the new Mood Pack gift on the in-app NFT resale marketplace.

Previously, when this gift was released, it was only available to Premium users and limited to 5 per user. Hopefully, this will be fixed.
